Having been in the real estate industry for almost 10 years and a Brisbane local my whole life – I have never been more excited with our current market conditions.
To be fair, like the majority of people we were unsure about the effect of COVID on the rental market – but what a difference a few months can make! Edging into December, all signs are pointing to a very busy end of the year and a busy first quarter of the New Year.
With borders reopening and interstate travel back on the menu, we have been flooded with enquiry from potential tenants wanting to make a move to the South-East. Not only is this latest trend good news for landlords, but also for us in the property management department who enjoy putting leased stickers on signboards in quicker time periods than experienced in a long time.
My advice to those in the investment market is this – if you maintain your home appropriately and price the property accordingly you will attract the right tenant and the right price. I am more than happy to advise what you should do and what you don’t need to do in order to achieve this outcome.
